Really? Especially posting that this weekend, when most all of us have been pleading with the mainstream media to stop using the disgusting whitewash term “alt-right”, you take the opportunity to use the mirror image and equally inappropriate term “alt-left” to refer to and again skewer progressives with the completely false dichotomy of economic inequality versus identify politics and race? When, in fact, most of us have long ago understood that these issues are inseparable and are of equally vital importance, not just for progressives and liberals, but for our entire nation? When your tweet only serves to unintentionally echo, by its very timing, Trump’s egregious dog-whistle “on many sides” comment, equating impassioned progressives with Nazis?
What has happened to you? Somehow, you’ve decided that marginalizing progressives, separating us from “true” liberals, just like the WSJ did in their rancid cartoon above, is what we need, what this site needs, what the Democratic Party needs. Do you really believe this helps to promote Daily Kos, or you, or Democrats, or what we are trying to achieve together, more than ever, now?
